What kind of organisation we are
Our non-commercial position
Community Ride Hub is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. We intend to provide transport for our members and for the people referred to us by partner organisations, under a section 19 permit once issued. We are not a taxi or private hire operator and we will not sell journeys to the general public. We will recover the cost of the journeys we provide, and any surplus will be reinvested in the service.
Community Ride Hub is not a registered charity. We are a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, and we intend to apply for charitable registration once we meet the criteria for it. Any surplus we generate is reinvested in our services; it cannot be paid out to members or directors.
