Get involved

Community Ride Hub is being built with the community, for the community. Give your time, skills, experience or support and help us create transport that keeps people connected.

Community Ride Hub is being built with the support of people who believe that access to transport should not be a barrier to independence, connection or participation in community life.

As we prepare our services, there are several ways you can get involved — by giving your time, sharing your skills, driving with us, supporting our work or helping us build strong local partnerships.

Why your support matters now

Community Ride Hub is starting carefully. Before we can grow our transport services, we need to build the people, skills and community support behind them.

Drivers and volunteers will be especially important during our early development. We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced drivers, including people who already have the appropriate licence entitlement and experience to drive minibuses or community transport vehicles.

There are also many ways to help that do not involve driving. Administration, fundraising, community outreach, passenger support, events, technology and professional skills can all make a meaningful difference.

Every person who gets involved helps us build a service that is safe, reliable, inclusive and financially sustainable.
