Donate
Community Ride Hub is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. Our intention is that any surplus, and any donation, is reinvested in the service rather than paid out to individuals.
No card payments on this website
This website does not have a card payment facility for donations. This is a deliberate, temporary position while Community Ride Hub puts the right financial controls and processing arrangements in place, not an oversight. Please use one of the routes below instead.
What a donation supports
Donations help Community Ride Hub cover the costs that membership contributions alone are not expected to meet in the early years — vehicle costs, driver training, insurance, and the volunteer and coordination support that keeps journeys running.
Community Ride Hub does not sell seats to the public and does not compete for commercial transport work; it recovers cost from members and from the organisations that refer people to it. Donations sit alongside that, not instead of it, and are treated with the same governance and financial control as every other source of income.
Ways to give, in the meantime
- By bank transfer — account details are [TBC] and will be published here once confirmed.
- By post — a cheque made payable to Community Ride Hub Limited, sent to the registered office.
- By arrangement — contact Community Ride Hub to discuss a donation, including gifts in kind such as vehicles, equipment or professional services.
Gift Aid and receipts
Community Ride Hub is not yet a registered charity, so it cannot claim Gift Aid on donations at this stage. This page will be updated if that changes. A receipt can be provided for any donation on request.
Want to talk about a larger gift, sponsorship or grant?
For trusts, foundations, local businesses and grant funders, the support page sets out how to start that conversation.
