Commissioned and partnership services
Alongside individual membership, we want Community Ride Hub to work with local authorities, health bodies and voluntary sector organisations who commission transport for the people they support.
This is not a booking service yet
Community Ride Hub is preparing to operate. This page describes a proposed service. Journeys cannot yet be arranged, and nothing here is an offer of transport.
What we are seeking
Community Ride Hub is a not-for-profit community transport organisation preparing to operate, and we want to be a reliable partner for organisations that need accessible transport for the people they work with. We are actively seeking relationships with commissioners — we are not describing any contract we currently hold. Any suggestion elsewhere on this site of a specific service being available should be read alongside this: everything is proposed until stated otherwise.
Who we would like to work with
- Local authority adult social care and SEND transport teams
- NHS and community health commissioners
- Voluntary sector and charity partners supporting older or disabled people
- Care providers and day centres needing reliable transport partners
What we aim to offer a commissioning partner
A not-for-profit operator with community transport at the centre of its purpose, drivers trained to MiDAS or equivalent standards, enhanced DBS checks throughout, and a governance structure designed for accountability rather than shareholder return — once we are operational and those arrangements are in place. Full detail on our intended standards and governance is available on the About pages.
We are not currently able to confirm which, if any, commissioning relationships are in place — that position is [TBC] and will only be stated here once agreements exist. This page should not be read as evidence of a current contract.
